Female.

Female Happiness

I'm really excited about the future and I think, more so than ever, that the future is female. I'm excited to know strong women in my future; I'm excited to BE a strong woman in my future; and I'm hoping to raise a strong woman in my future.

In my last post, if you haven't gotten a chance to read yet, I shared a video by espnW about how President Obama is a champion for female athletes. In today's post, I want to share with you how women in the world of athletics, in turn, have stood up to be champions for their values and for what they hold to be important. Here are some of my favorite Instagram posts from Women's Marches this week:

Abby Wambach - Soccer Player, Olympic Medalist, FIFA Women's World Cup Champion

Gretchen Bleiler - Olympic Snowboarder and Environmental Activist

Sierra Quitiquit - Pro Skier and Model

Michelle Kwan - Figure Skater, Olympic Medalist, World Champion and U.S. Champion

Ayesha Curry - Businesswoman, Cookbook Author, Wife to Stephen Curry

Repost from @shekinaholiday because she said it best today for me I had to share. 💛💛💛. Proverbs 31: 8-9
